where do you gather inspiration (for anything)?
Everything inspires me.  Since I was little, I’ve loved fantasy movies like Legend, Dragonslayer, The Princess Bride.  Fairy tales and romance play a big part in my creations.  Nature does it for me, too.  I love to be outside, gazing at the tops of trees in the sky or taking in colors of flowers.  I take long nature walk and listen to music.

what’s the most exciting thing that’s happened since you started your company/business?
Meeting some of the best people in the Bay Area, crafters, jewelry designers, candle makers, etc.  I’ve become friends with so many creative folks. Making jewelry has made me more social.  Participating in craft fairs is exciting, too.  Just getting positive feedback from someone passing by is so major.

what are some things you can’t live without?
I can’t live without music.  It just about rules my life.  It determines what I am going to wear, how I will feel that day, what I will create.  It is always playing around me! And my husband.  He’s pretty great, too!

something most people would be surprised to know about you?
I’m really very nice.

currently on rotation on your ipod?
British pop music, old and new.  I love Oasis, The Beatles, Arctic Monkeys, Small Faces.  Chances are, if it has a British accent, I love it!

if you could pick someone to be your #1 fan, who would it be?
Jewelry designer Tarina Tarantino.  Then maybe she would give me a job.

favorite superhero of all time?
Mother Nature

favorite vacation spot?
London.  My husband and I have been there twice and we are ready to go back again!
